Our Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge Family is expanding in 2023!

Over the years we have been inundated with requests to extend our offering to include a Grade 0000 class and we have worked hard to prepare for this inclusion. We are finally ready to make the announcement that Grade 0000 is coming and we are so excited to be opening our arms to our newest ‘littlies’ in 2023.

Grade 0000 caters for children aged from two to three years old and is an extremely important addition to the Pre-Primary school’s Early Childhood Development (ECD) offering.

No longer are the earlier Grades such as Grade 0, Grade 00, Grade 000, and Grade 0000 simply about preparation for Grade 1 and the Primary School years. Early Grades are about the holistic development of a child’s emotional, cognitive, physical, social, and creative needs – all of which are vital to producing well-adjusted little human beings.

To highlight just two of the examples: Social Skills would entail learning to take turns, to share and to work together as a team, while Creative Skills learnt through cultural activities is the ability to think about a task or a problem in a different way, or the ability to use the imagination to generate new ideas. 

 The developmental benefits are obvious, but Grade 0000 will also offer your child two very important factors:

1.    Routine and

2.    Family

Routine:

It is a well-documented fact that early routine offers a child:

·      Safety and security

·      Preparation to deal with change in a safe environment

·      Behaviour management - as children learn early what is expected of them

·      Strong foundation for their school years ahead
